What is Glycerin Soap?

Glycerin is a humectant. It absorbs water from the air and thus attracts moisture to your skin. While some soaps make your skin dry, tight and flaky, glycerin soaps are very moisturizing and keep your skin feeling hydrated for several hours after using it. They are considered to be the most moisturizing type of soap and are particularly beneficial for people who have sensitive skin.

We believe it is the best non-drying soap for sunburned skin!

The soaps in our Seaglass Glycerin Collection are made by hand in small batches, using only NATURAL ingredients, natural colorants, natural summer essences and no preservatives.

 

 

Castile Soap

Castile Soap is a name used in English speaking countries for a vegetable-oil based soap that is made in a similar style to that originating in the Castile region of Spain.  Traditionally this soap was made with Olive-oil.

True Castile soap does not contain harsh synthetic detergents and the best ones do not add any skin irritating artificial colorants, synthetic fragrances or preservatives.

At Lady Bowditch Naturals our Castile soaps are handmade and hand wrapped.  We use only NATURAL ingredients, natural colorants, natural perfume and no preservatives.
